Be an independent learner! You can choose many ways to study English outside of class time.

Written Journal
Keep a journal. Write in a notebook or on a computer. You can write about anything you like! Show your work to your teacher or go to NINJA to get some feedback.
Speaking Journal
Record yourself on your computer/phone. Save your file to a USB or upload it to your blog or your own website.
Listening Journal
Watch a movie and write a short review about it. What were some English words or phrases that you learned from this movie?
Listen to a song and find the lyrics for it. Write about the song and some English words or phrases you learned from it.
Reading Journal
Borrow books or magazines from the library/extensive reading library, read newspapers, browse reading sites. Keep track of the books/articles that you read, note how long you read for, and write a short summary of what you read.
Grammar/Vocabulary Study
Use a study program like PraxisEd, Word Engine, or similar sites.
Use the resources in the NINJA.
Try to study at least 3 times a week and keep a record of what you study and how long.
Test Study
Interested in improving your TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS score? Study online or use the resources in NINJA to help you. The teachers there are always willing to help!
